PETER BENNETT TO SPEAK ON MAINE LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW PROGRAM

PORTLAND, MAINE - Peter Bennett, a management attorney specializing in labor relations and employment law will be speaking on May 16, 2000 at the Maine Labor and Employment Law seminar hosted by the National Business Institute.  This seminar is designed for business owners, executives, personnel managers and attorneys who desire to formulate strategies for successfully preventing and handling workplace problems with their employees.  The day long seminar will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Portland, Maine.

Peter Bennett is President of The Bennett Law Firm, a Portland, Maine based law firm which specializes in representing management on issues of employment and labor law throughout New England.  Bennett is also the past-Chair of the Employer/Employee Relations Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section.

Bennett received an A.B. degree cum laude in Economics from Harvard College as well as J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Boston University, where he was an Edward F. Hennessey Distinguished Scholar.
