PORTLAND ATTORNEY CO-AUTHOR OF DEFENSE RESEARCH INSTITUTE ARTICLE ON DISABILITY CAUSED EMPLOYEE MISCONDUCT

PORTLAND, MAINE - Frederick B. Finberg, a shareholder of The Bennett Law Firm, P.A. co-authored an article in the Defense Research Institute’s December 2000 issue of For The Defense.  The article, Employee Misconduct and the Americans With Disabilities Act-How Far Is Too Far?, provides a comprehensive analysis of the extent to which an employer may discipline an employee for disability caused misconduct. The Defense Research Institute is a national law association of defense and corporate counsel.

The Bennett Law Firm, P.A. is a Maine based law firm which specializes in representing management on issues of employment and labor law throughout New England. Finberg also serves as a State Liaison for the Defense Research Institute’s Employment Law Committee.

Finberg received his B.A. degree cum laude from Brandeis University and his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law.
