PORTLAND, MAINE ATTORNEY PETER BENNETT RECOGNIZED BY AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION FOR SERVICE TO THE ORGANIZED BAR

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - Peter Bennett, a Portland, Maine attorney was honored by the American Bar Association Law Student Division for his faithful and professional execution of services to the Law Student Division.  The award presented to Bennett by John J. Okray, a Governor of the Division, indicates that Bennett’s commitment and dedication has assured law students a greater opportunity to become involved with and participate fully in the direction and aims of the organized bar.  Bennett, active himself in the American Bar Association, has worked diligently to increase the participation of law students within the organization’s affairs.

Bennett is President of The Bennett Law Firm, a Portland, Maine firm which specializes in representing management throughout the Northeast on matters of labor and employment law.  He is also on the Governing Council of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section and a Vice President and Director of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms.
